Pure Balance ("the app") is a personal bookkeeping and record-keeping tool for tracking gold weights, balances, and informal transactions. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.

We collect the following information, and nothing more:
We do not collect your location, device identifiers, contacts, browsing history, or any information you do not directly type or upload into the app yourself. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking software.
All data you enter is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), a cloud database service operated by Google. Your data is used solely to provide the app's core functionality to you — namely, keeping your own ledger records synced and accessible across your own devices. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.
Photos you attach to transactions or your personal profile are stored as part of your ledger data within the same Firebase database described above — we do not use a separate photo-hosting service.
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You may delete individual records (people, transactions, photos) at any time within the app. If you would like your entire account and all associated data permanently deleted, please contact us at the email above and we will process your request.
Pure Balance is a personal record-keeping tool only. It does not generate official, government-compliant tax invoices (such as ZATCA-compliant e-invoices in Saudi Arabia, or equivalent requirements in other jurisdictions). Users who require compliant tax invoicing remain responsible for using a separate, certified billing system for that purpose.
Pure Balance is a personal record-keeping tool intended for adult users tracking their own informal balances and transactions. It is not directed at, marketed to, or knowingly used by children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We rely on Google Firebase's built-in security infrastructure, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) between the app and our servers, and Firebase's access-control rules that restrict each account's data to that account alone. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
